Character Rules Empty Character Rules

These rules are set to deal with the sort of characters/OCs we will tolerate. I am willing to be EXTREMELY lenient with these, as there are vast varieties of characters. If you're in doubt, don't hesitate to ask me. You may reply to this thread, or you may PM me.

  • 'God' characters are generally not allowed - however, a high amount of magic is fine within reason.
  • Fan characters such as Pokemon, Digimon, Kirby or whatever else... they're all accepted! DBA is for every character under the sun. Be a Pikachu if you really want to. HOWEVER, you can't roleplay as Ash Ketchum or Ichigo Kurosaki. We encourage individuality. Remember, personalities are very important.
  • Humans, anthros, ferals, spirits, dust motes with self-awareness, dragons, vampires, demons, angels and everything in between or beside are all fine. Hell, make up your own species. Just make sure you describe your character in great detail.
  • Speaking of which, new species and their characteristics may be described fully in the Original Species board if you want. Make sure to state whether or not you want other people to be able to use this species for their own characters. Either way, it's interesting reading.
  • Reference pictures are highly encouraged since it gives people an actual image to work from. But it's absolutely fine if you don't want to draw it. Ref pics aren't a fundamental thing - they're just helpful extras.
  • No limit on the amount of characters you can have! If everyone gets like ten characters each though, I might start getting a bit worried about this rule...
  • No more than two characters per person in any single roleplay thread. If one of your characters leaves, however, you may bring another into play.
  • If you're writing for both characters in one post, use a different colour for each character. Try to use a colour that no one else is using, unless it's unavoidable.
  • NOTE - Writing an EXAMPLE POST just once is enough. If you're adding multiple characters, just delete the Example Post section of the character form.
