Other:

NOTE - Writing an EXAMPLE POST just once is enough. If you're adding multiple characters, just delete the Example Post section of the character form.

A brief rundown of each part...

Name - The full name of your character, e.g. Bob Smith

Gender - Male, Female, Unspecified

Species name - Human? Water Dragon? Pikachu? If you don't have a species name, either make up a nickname that others might call it, or just write 'Pending'.

Description - Full description of the character. Be as detailed as you possibly can, as this will greatly help other users to imagine what your character looks like. If you have a reference picture, this is still required, as a description often has information that a drawing can overlook or maybe describes a feature that isn't pictured.

Sample post - As if you were just entering a random roleplaying area for the first time. This enables me to tell whether or not you should be roleplaying in the Sandbox section first. I may also give you pointers, if I think I can help.

Other - Any details that you want other users to know about, but don't fit in the other sections. This may include your character's powers and abilities, though you don't have to tell anyone about those until they come into play. Makes for an interesting twist.

You may also post as many reference pictures as you like after the form. If you have more than three, however, I'd suggest making the rest into links for the benefit of people with slow connections.

IMPORTANT! Although in so many other forums a 'personality' section is mandatory, I strongly feel that a character's personality should be found out just like you would a real person's - as in via interaction through roleplay. After all, you had to talk to your friends before you really knew them, right? You didn't just read a slip of paper and know exactly how they were going to react in any given situation. This also encourages people to develop their characters past just a 'base' personality.
This also applies to a character's magical prowess, along with powers and abilities.
