Main Rules

I'm willing to be fairly flexible with DBA rules, within reason. I also will not ban after the first offence, nor the third. Only once someone has proven that they cannot abide by our rules will I eventually ban them. Otherwise you get warnings. Rules are as follows:

• No rating. Do what you want here... That means swearing and violence (and everything else) is up to you and how you want to roleplay.
  
• No powerplaying. Your character can not kill another of its own size in a single hit, nor can your character dodge every attack launched at it.
  
• Don't control other people's characters within your post.
  
• No arguing on the main boards. If you must argue, however, I understand how people like to be public arseholes about it so I'll make a board for arguments if ever one should break out.
  
• Mary-Sue characters are not encouraged at all. However, I'm willing to tolerate them until you learn what makes a better and more original character. See the Character Rules for more specific information.
  
• Rules subject to change. Any changes will be noted in the News section. All news posts will be made into a sticky until the next news post.
  
• If a topic falls inactive for over a month, it will be locked. Anything that took place within said topic can be assumed never to have happened. So if a character is new to Perenar, and their first appearance was in an inactive topic, they are still new to Perenar and will not remember anything that happened in that topic. To apply for a topic to be unlocked, PM me. I'm fine with unlocking them if you plan to roleplay in them again.
  
• If you finish in one area and move to another, the 'old' topic will be locked and marked as 'complete'.
