Wishtheif Awakes. [COMPLETE]

The wind flustered past Wishtheif fur. Brushing past her ghetto hat like normal. Twitching what felt like a cheek yet was a whisker, she yawned. Opening one eye before the other, she saw grass surrounding her. It seemed much larger than she remembered it. Suddenly it hit her, that damn cat wizard, she was fighting him but...he faught back..no one had ever faught back. What had he done to her?! Teleported her to a strange place with very tall grass?

Groaning, she tried to stand from her lieing position. Why was she so damn sore? Uhh..she couldn't move. The pain from him throwing her about was unbearable yet she didn't know what had caused it. I'll just...get somemore sleep... She thought as she drifted off again, her eyes clouding before she fell back to sleep.

Sunburst yawned widely, eyes watering. That traveller had been right - the sunlight here made you sleepy. She liked the peacefulness of this forest, even if the sky was misted over today.
She floated along for a while, and then stopped still with one steadying wingbeat. There was a cat in the grass right beside her. She decided she hadn't noticed because she was floating at humans' head height... yeah... that was it. Not the fact that she was sleepy or anything.
The sheet-covered creature yawned again. It wasn't her business to know who this cat was or why it was wearing a hat, but she kind of liked cats. Sunburst drifted towards the tree, feeling dizzy. Well, she guessed that if the cat woke up, it'd wake her up too. She floated over to it and then very quietly settled down by the other side of the tree at a 90-degree angle to the strange cat. Her eyes closed, and she joined the cat in unconsciousness.

Sunburst's eyes fluttered open fairly slowly, but then she became alert as the cat's sudden movements and cry of dismay woke her up properly.
"...hh...hm...?"
She righted herself and with a short wingbeat gave herself some momentum to work from, enabling her to rise to about humans' waist height.
"Oh. Hi there." She didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that she'd been mistaken for a ghost. In fact, that was the very intention of wearing the sheet. She accepted that her disguise would most likely be figured out eventually, but for now she didn't say anything for or against the matter. She preferred to leave it to others to come to their own conclusions.
Sunburst didn't move from where she currently floated. The cat could talk, so it might pose more of a threat than a regular cat would. It was to be expected. Perenar was undergoing a large amount of activity. New beings were popping up everywhere, a fair amount of which could be quite nasty.

Sunburst blinked at her. "Me? Oh. I'm Sunny." Sometimes people would mistake that for 'Sonny', adding to the male illusion. She didn't care about that, either. People generally took her more seriously this way. "What's your name?" she asked brightly, vivid yellow eyes fixed on Wishthief in what could accidentally be an unnerving way.

Sunburst chuckled gruffly. "Those are kind of weird names. Not yours - yours is kinda neat. But those other ones," she stumbled over her words, cursing mentally. "Well, anyway, I don't really know... you could call me a Float, I guess." She never really said much about what she really was. She wasn't even sure herself, so she usually made stuff up at the last minute.

Sunburst listened to the cat's ranting and looked guiltily to the ground on her right. "Sorry for waking you up. I don't know what happened to you, cat, but if I did something, then..." She trailed off. Was she just making things worse?
Surely it wasn't her fault, though, right? She tried to convince herself she could have had nothing to do with it.

Sunburst blinked at her, nonplussed. She backed off a little. "Eheh... ehhh... I really don't want to be around when you realise, but I'll say it anyway. I'm gonna take a wild guess that you weren't always a cat. You should probably look at your paw- um, I mean, feet, now." Although she didn't look like much, she could make a lot of educated guesses that usually turned out to be right. Apparently she valued her intelligence more than her strength or courage.

Sunburst backed off a metre or so, more than a little put off by the fact that this cat was being so loud. She winced and kept her distance. Cat wizard? She'd quite like to meet someone like that one day. Though perhaps not at the same time as Wishthief. It might get messy.
"Y-you're in Perenar," she stated. "Peacock Woods. I-I'm sure you'll love it here, though! Really!" she exclaimed in an attempt to cheer her up. "It's never boring or anything!" She knew that the cat would probably rather hear something like 'there are portals to your homeworld all over the place' but Sunburst was honest by nature.

Sunburst's eyes widened beneath her sheet. "Eh? You mean I can be, eh... your guide or something?" Cool! She got to hang out with someone. "Of course I'll help out. It's the least I can do. After all, you just got thrown into a completely new world, so it's only fair that I give you a helping hand."

Sveltt padded quietly through the trees. The air was moist today. He felt rain coming on. Cyan eyes flickered this way and that, and eventually sighted the two odd beings through the trees. And from this distance, the wolf above them was easily visible as well.
He emitted a low, mournful cry that sounded very like whalesong as a serenade to announce his arrival to them all. He did this to avoid alarming anyone, and advanced forwards into the clearing.

Sunburst glanced from Wishthief to Sveltt and back again, and then retreated slightly. She didn't enjoy conflict normally. She always did as she could to avoid being a part of it.

Sveltt drew close to the two, and in response to Wishthief's question he closed his eyes, bowing his head slightly in respect.
"My title is Sveltt, as given to me by my sire. May I enquire yours?" His voice wasn't so much a voice as a series of echoes. Though he wasn't verbally making any whistling sounds, they sometimes reverberated in your head. It was calming, strangely.

Sunburst squealed in fright at the sudden appearance of the wolf, losing her balance and crashing backwards into a tree.

The water-dweller's ears pricked up and he steadied his stance carefully as he stared up to meet the eyes of the wolf just as it leapt down to attack them.
He emitted a frenzied chime of shock, and rolled to the side awkwardly to avoid the fangs of the strange wolf.
"Cease your aggression, sir!" he called out. "We are not seeking trouble here!"

Sunburst looked as though she was shaking ever so slightly - and rightly so. She had a fear of being attacked. Some people could stand tall knowing they could defend themselves, but Sunny was... well, underconfident.
"Y-yeah... I'm fine... It didn't come near me..."

"I would not call him an 'it' if I were currently in your position. It may anger him." Sveltt stepped forwards, apparently having recovered from the ordeal. His tail rippled very slightly when he walked.
Sveltt approached the vampire and stood his ground, leaning forwards ever so slightly to reach out and touch his snout gently to the wolf's side. "Awake, sir." He prepared himself to leap on top of the vampire and pin him down if need be, though he couldn't be sure his strength or speed would be enough.

Sunburst managed to get her trembling under control, though she still hung back for fear of being attacked again. She edged in front of a tree and stayed there, watching closely.

"Sir, you leapt from the heavens and attempted to devour us, then hit your head on a tree and knocked yourself out," he explained carefully and calmly - as if explaining to someone how to fix their telephone. "I assume this is uncommon for you?" His tail rippled behind him slowly.
